Best Practices: Consolidating Private Labels into Templates

Label MakerOne of the things we rarely talk about when we talk about ParityFactory software, is what a huge impact it has on our private labeling customers.

Many are already using labeling software like Bartender or EasyLabel, and via those they’re managing several dozen or even hundreds of individual private labels. Did you know that with ParityFactory our clients are typically get down to just three or four label templates?

You can link your private labels directly to the data that lives in ParityFactory with ease, and usually as a part of the implementation process. Many of our clients manually create these labels every shift and batch. This can expose you to recalls caused by human error when manually updating all these fields on every single case label. It also is a very tedious process to update these labels multiple times a day and to manage the various versions.  Sometimes this amount of label upkeep even creates a need to have this as a dedicated role within your organization.

With ParityFactory, we have the ability to automate the data you need on your private labels. Some common examples include: automated lot numbers, automated best before & pack dates, product detail, and even customer shipping information. You can setup default labels for your client specific products or you can even have many different labels for one product SKU.

ParityFactory can even serialize each case getting labeled, giving you a unique barcode for every case made. This can also be converted to a GS1 format, which is a requirement of some of the large distributors. With this solution, our clients experience less recalls due to labeling issues, more time for QA to focus on strategic work, and a reduced quantity of labels to manage.

Take the manual work out of private labeling and let ParityFactory handle that for you – feel free to contact us to learn more!
