ParityFactory shipment staging is a new tool to help companies organize outgoing shipments. The new feature allows users to specify a staging location for each shipment. Not only can companies consolidate large orders, it can also help validate all staged items are loaded onto a truck before it leaves to ensure no pallets are left behind.
Staging Locations
Staging locations are unique locations that are assigned on a shipment by shipment basis. These locations can be assigned ahead of time by a supervisor so that forklift operators are directed to a specific location. Alternatively, if a staging location has not been assigned before consolidation has begun, a floor user can specify a staging location on the fly.
Loading Validations
Once an order has been staged, ParityFactory enforces scanning each pallet as it is physically loaded onto an outbound truck. This offers assurances that all pallets that were staged get scanned out of inventory for full traceability.
